Salomé Ferru joined Hydroclimat in 2026 as a junior data scientist. A graduate of Centrale Marseille, she specialized in mathematical modeling applied to climate science.
During her final-year internship at Siemens Digital Industries Software in Belgium, she worked primarily on deep learning methods applied to numerical simulation problems within the context of artificial intelligence research. This work resulted in A-level scientific publications in international journals, of which she is a co-author.
At Hydroclimat, Salomé Ferru contributes to the development and application of machine learning methods for analyzing data from climate models and satellite observations. She also participates in the implementation of data processing tools and pipelines, enabling the efficient utilization of large volumes of information.
Her work is part of the development of tools aimed at enhancing the analysis and utilization of climate data, in order to support the understanding and anticipation of the impacts of climate change.
