Olivier Robelin joined Hydroclimat in 2025 as an expert in water resources and climate change. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure de l'Énergie, de l'Eau et de l'Environnement (Grenoble INP – ENSE3), Olivier Robelin has more than five years of experience in numerical modelling, hydrology and hydrogeology, mainly developed at INRAE. He also contributed to the Explore 2 project, working on aspects related to changes in flow rates and groundwater, and is one of the contributors to the key messages of the national programme.
At Hydroclimat, Olivier Robelin is involved in prospective studies on water resources. His main mission is the analysis and processing of hydroclimatic projections, as well as hydrological and hydrogeological modelling. The aim of this work is to quantify changes in water resources at different territorial scales. He also contributes to the construction and rating of climatic and hydrological indicators, as well as to the assessment of the vulnerability of territories to hazards, enabling risks to be prioritised and adaptation strategies to be guided.
Its main mission is to support and guide public and private actors in their adaptation strategies to water-related challenges, based on robust analyses and forward-looking modelling tools.
