Your missions :
As part of our recruitment process, we are looking for a Project Manager, whose main mission will be to support local authorities, public and private players in prospective studies on water and climate change in France and abroad.
You will be working mainly on the following assignments:
- Production of technical studies and analyses on the state of knowledge on climate and water resources, and their future evolution in the context of climate change.
The main skill sought for this recruitment concerns the field of hydrological studies with the following tasks:
- Collection, processing and analysis of hydroclimatic data to develop prospective scenarios for the evolution of resources and uses under the constraint of climate change;
- Hydrological/rainfall-flow modelling ;
- Analysis of water uses.
Depending on your profile and our customers’ requests and orders, other types of assignment may be added to the above, in particular for climate resilience projects. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company’s internal activities in terms of :
- Research & Innovation
- Setting up projects and developing partnerships
- External communication
- Punctual help
Recruitment qualifications
Holder of a PhD, an engineering degree (ENSAT, ENGEES, AgroParisTech or other school in Water Engineering, Climate Sciences and Environmental Sciences) or a Master’s degree in water sciences or geography. Ideally, you will have some initial professional experience in hydroclimatology.
You have a :
- Fluent in computer programming (Python, matlab, R).
- Good practice in hydrological models
- Good command of GIS software (Qgis, ArcGis, etc.)
- Knowledge of the challenges and constraints of operational hydrometeorological modeling.
- Interest in water and climate change issues.
Plus points :
- Good knowledge of climate and water databases (HUBEAU, ADES, EXPLORE2, TRACC)
- Good knowledge of the university environment and research methods
- Knowledge of other water-related fields: hydrogeology and hydromorphology, water quality, etc.
- Complementary skills in the field of climate and adaptation ;
- Skills or interest in working on other departmental themes, in support of project managers;

Additional recruitment information:
- Start date: early 2025
- Location: Aubagne (15min by TER from Marseille center) in a young and dynamic team
